3 Simple Valentine's Day Mocktails To Try
Valentine’s Day is just around the corner- and this year we’re lucky enough to be able to celebrate on a weekend! Whether you’re spending a weekend away, enjoying a meal at home or dining at your favorite restaurant, it’s always fun to celebrate this fun and sappy holiday.
But just like any other holiday, staying alcohol free can be tough. Many restaurants and stores promote sparkling wines and champagne to celebrate with, and settling with Welch’s isn’t always ideal. Luckily, our line of Grüvi wines let’s you enjoy an elevated, yet alcohol free drink, with your significant other.
For this Valentine’s Day, we’ve curated three simple and tasty mocktail recipes using our Dry Secco and Bubbly Rosé. If you want to enjoy a valentine’s themed drink, read on to try our newest mocktails!
Raspberry Sorbet & Rosé Float
Makes two servings- you’ll only need more rosé for more servings.
Ingredients
- 1 pint raspberry sorbet
- 1 bottle Grüvi Bubbly Rosé
- Raspberries (for garnish)
- Mint (for garnish)
Instructions
- Fill two glasses halfway with bubbly rosé.
- Add a scoop (or two) of raspberry sorbet to each glass.
- Garnish with raspberries and mint- enjoy with a reusable straw or spoon!
Citrus Cardamom Rosé Spritz
This recipe is courtesy of our friend @mocktaleswithlilly- Lilly says “Cardamom is a herbal, almost minty spice in the same family as ginger, and brings an earthy depth to this non-alcoholic sparkling rosé cocktail. Enjoy!”
Makes one serving.
Ingredients
- 1 oz. grapefruit juice
- 0.5 oz. of cardamom simple syrup
- dash of rose water (optional)
- 1 bottle Grüvi Bubbly Rosé
Instructions
- To make the cardamom simple syrup, combine 1 cup sugar, 1 cup water and 1 tbsp cardamom pods and bring to a boil.
- Remove from heat and let sit for one hour to infuse. Cool, strain and store in a jar in the fridge (lasts up to two weeks).
- In a shaker glass or mason jar, combine grapefruit juice and simple syrup with ice (also add rose water, if using). Shake vigorously for 20 seconds.
- Strain mixture into a glass filled with ice, then top with bubbly rosé.
- Garnish with rose leaves for an elegant treat!
Sparkling Blush Sour
Makes one serving.
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp. rose water (optional)
- 2 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
- 1-2 tbsp. honey or agave syrup
- A few drops of blood orange juice or pomegranate juice, for color
- 1 bottle GrĂĽvi Dry Secco
- Fresh roses, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients except dry secco into a cocktail shaker or mason jar filled with ice. Shake vigorously for 15 seconds.
- Strain into a glass, then top with dry secco. Garnish with lemon slices and rose petals, if using. Cheers!
