3 Simple Spring Mocktails to Make at Home

Though we might be enjoying spring from inside our homes, that doesn’t mean we still can’t enjoy our favorite cocktails! We’ve invited some of our friends to create new recipes to share, all utilizing our GrĂŒvi Prosecco. Utilizing fresh fruits and herbs welcomes a little springtime in each sip.

Here’s your chance to become your own craft bartender- read on to see which recipe you’ll make first!

Blueberry Bellini

Our newest recipe creation, this blueberry bellini is a refreshing and zingy treat. It’s best sipped through a straw (reusable or recyclable of course).

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/3 cup coconut sugar or granulated sugar
  • 1 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger
  • sage
  • GrĂŒvi Prosecco
  • Ice

Instructions:

  1. To create the blueberry puree, add sugar, water, blueberry & grated ginger to a saucepan. Bring to a simmer over medium-low heat and cook for about 10 minutes.
  2. Let cool & transfer mixture to a blender or food processor- blend until it’s smooth puree.
  3. Add ice to the glass, pour in 2 ounces of blueberry puree & top with GrĂŒvi Prosecco.
  4. Add a few springs of sage for taste & garnish- be sure to slap the sage to release more herbal aromas.

The Immunity Booster

This recipe was made courtesy of Blaire Horton of Holistic Rendezvous. This drink utilizes ginger (which is antibacterial and can help with nausea) and elderberries (which are packed with vitamins and antioxidants). Help boost your immune system with this herbal elixir!

Ingredients:

  • 1 thumb ginger (use a micro plane or grater to finely ‘grind’ it)⁣
  • 1 tsp elderberry syrup⁣
  • 1 wedge lemon, squeezed
  • ⁣1 GrĂŒvi Prosecco⁣
  • Ice

Instructions:

  1. Microplane the ginger into a glass filled with ice.
  2. Take a large lemon wedge and squeeze into the glass- careful not to let the seeds get it!
  3. Pour in about 1 teaspoon of elderberry syrup (though you can add more if you want a stronger flavor)
  4. Pour in GrĂŒvi prosecco, give it a quick stir, and top with more prosecco. Add in a lemon slice and enjoy!

Berry Refreshing

This recipe was made by our friend Drew Martino, and is a simple, fresh mocktail that is best served on a sunny day. Frozen berries work best for keeping this drink nice and cold.

Ingredients:

Instructions:

  1. Place berries and water in a blender and blend on high until mixed very well.
  2. Fill glass with berry mixture halfway and then finish off the glass with prosecco.
  3. Squeeze lemon on top Then cut a slice of lemon to garnish for the side.
