Dry Red Blend & Sangria Win Gold and Silver Medals at IWSC

Our trophy case is starting to get a little too full… but that’s just fine with us! We are incredibly excited and proud to announce that both the Dry Red Blend and Sangria have been awarded medals at the International Wine and Spirit Competition.

One of the most important beverage competitions in the world, the IWSC ranks and awards medals to the most innovative and superior wines and spirits from around the globe. We are honored to have been included in their Low and No category this year.

The IWSC Low and No Alcohol Drinks Awards grew by almost 400% in 2021, making it the largest (and most competitive) low and no alcohol awards in the world.

Despite the tough competition, our new and improved Batch #4 of Dry Red Blend received a silver medal with 92 points and was noted for its “punchy nose of sour blackberries and cherries and richness in these flavours.”

And our Sangria was awarded a coveted 95 points on the traditional IWSC scale, earning it a gold medal and exceptional feedback for an alcohol-free wine: “Fruity and floral with bright notes of apple, orange, lavender and bay leaf. A touch of cinnamon creates warmth and depth. Good acidity and length.”
